Step1. Download
Download, install and run Mac AVCHD to iMovie converter on you Mac, then connect the plug-in USB connector of your AVCHD camcorder with Mac, save your AVCHD files on your Mac.
Step2. Add AVCHD files, set output and save
Click Add files to Add AVCHD files, it accept batch convert, you can add more than one a time.
Click Profile drop-down list, you can set the output as DV, MP4, MOV etc
Click Browse to save it to destination place.
Step3. Edit(optional)
Click Trim, you can set starting and ending time of you AVCHD files.
Click Edit, press "Effect" button to adjust brightness, contrast and saturation, press 'crop' button to set aspect ratio of the zoom to orignal, full screen, 16:9, 4:3.
Click Setting to adjust Resolution, Bit Rate, Frame Rate and Encoder of AVCHD video.
Step4. Convert and import AVCHD files to iMovie
Just click Convert to finish whole progress, then import ripe AVCHD files to iMovie.
